Stormy Skies over Sakonnet Point

Late one sunny afternoon in March, while going for a drive, I had noticed some extremely dark clouds rolling in from the west. I made it to Sakonnet Point in Little Compton, Rhode Island, where I waited for the clouds to hit. I didn’t know it at the time, but those angry little clouds were about to drop some rain and bring some serious wind along with them. Thankfully, it wasn’t too cold out! In the distance you can see the Sakonnet Lighthouse, which was built in 1884.
